Job Responsibilities

As a Production Trainee, you will:

  • Support the Quality Management System and ensure adherence to company procedures.
  • Handle raw materials and finished products, including transportation using forklifts.
  • Ensure product quality approval from Quality Control before dispatch.
  • Conduct regular plant inspections and follow shift checklists.
  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Meet monthly productivity improvement targets.
  • Assist production team members and perform additional duties as required.​

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this internship, applicants must:

  • Have completed Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science.
  • Possess either:
    • Completed NQF Level 2 theory for Chemical Operators, with the practical training component outstanding; or
    • Completed N6 in Chemical Engineering, requiring practical work-based experience.​
